the doll : 2011-2021
kathleen grace announced today that her character, "the doll" (aka the million dollar brat, baby babble, the sunshine kid), is going to be retired.
kathleen revealed that she's "too old" to be writing under such an archetype and wants to "do essays" to reflect her matured writing style.
she also said she'll be taking a sabbatical from the entertainment industry, as she spent her 20s being an “it girl” and now she wants to switch gears to just being a reclusive artist, hidden away from prying eyes. she's said she's going "where no one knows her name." she then said some shit that, when i googled, was not surprised to find it from romeo + juliet (yes, the dicaprio number): "talk not to me, for i'll not speak a word. do as thou wilt, for i have done with thee." and yes, she said "thou wilt."
well then, kids, it's really the end of an era. in addition to burying the doll, she also dumped the kiss brothers with her kid and peaced out. kathleen is straight up pulling a houdini right now which includes, but is not limited to some kind of media blackout.
she's pretty much dead to me because she's going OTG - "off the grid" - from the industry. she's going into some kind of artisty witness protection program or like a commune or something. and when i say art, i feel like she just took up painting and ceramics and "vants to be alone" in a hippie cabin in the woods writing blues songs.
see you around the campfire, doll.
